We are a multidisciplinary group of researchers focused on understanding how individuals become skillful in combat sports and activities. In doing so, we study beginners, intermediates and experts from a range experimental approaches, dealing with questions such as, how is skill defined and measured in combat sports? How does an individual successfully strike or throw an opponent? How does training influence skill?
